These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the lihkeedin.click website and any candid event, documentary, or portrait photography services ("Services") provided by Candid Co. ("Candid," "we," "us"), located at 58 Chestnut Street, Suite 3, Boston, MA 02108. By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Candid provides candid, documentary-style photography coverage for weddings, corporate and nonprofit events, private celebrations, portrait sessions, and multi-day gatherings. Final scope, coverage hours, and pricing are confirmed in a written proposal and signed agreement before your event date.
A signed coverage agreement and a non-refundable retainer of 30% of the total package price are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Dates are not considered held until both the signed agreement and retainer are received.
Should you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. The retainer is non-refundable, as it reserves your date and represents time turned away from other bookings. Cancellations made with at least 48 hours' notice before a scheduled consultation or planning call will be rescheduled at no charge. The U.S. does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for personalized services already scheduled and reserved. Rescheduling of an already-booked event date is subject to photographer availability and must be requested in writing at least 30 days in advance where possible.
Candid documents events as they naturally unfold and does not guarantee specific poses, staged shots, or coverage of every individual guest or moment. Weather, venue restrictions, timeline changes, and event-day circumstances outside our control may affect final coverage, and we are not liable for missed moments resulting from such circumstances.
Clients receive a personal-use print release for delivered images. Candid Co. retains copyright ownership of all images and may use them for portfolio, marketing, website, and social media purposes unless a written confidentiality agreement states otherwise. Full edited galleries are typically delivered within 3–4 weeks of the event date; a sneak-peek gallery is provided within 48 hours where included in your package.
We shoot with professional-grade equipment and back up all images to multiple locations promptly after each event. While we take extensive precautions, Candid Co.'s total liability in the unlikely event of data loss, equipment failure, or photographer illness/emergency is limited to a full refund of fees paid for the affected coverage; we are not liable for any other damages arising from such loss.
All content on this website — text, graphics, sample photographs, and logos — is owned by Candid Co. or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by Massachusetts law, Candid Co.'s total liability for any claim arising from our Services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific coverage package giving rise to the claim. Candid Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek relief in small claims court for qualifying disputes.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
